Pjotr became an independent salesman in his spare time, while studying webdesign and psychology. After a long self search, he realized that his journey within Geninc would not only end with the acquisition of human and professional skills but would also allow him to finally find his way and make his dreams come true.
Finding his way
While he is still a web design student, Pjotr starts thinking that this career will certainly not be right for him. He can’t imagine sitting in front of a computer for days contemplating walls.
He therefore decides to reorient himself towards a more open branch that will lead him to meet people and especially to maintain a human contact.
At this point in his life, Pjotr developed a strong interest in soul searching, meditation and yoga, which he began to practice.
Therefore, the most logical way to satisfy his personal interests is through psychology. He therefore began a journey in this field.
After 2 years of studies in psychology, Pjotr noticed that her schedule allowed her to work during her free time. This he will do by becoming an independent salesperson within our organization. Upon his arrival, Pjotr asked himself many questions about his new activity.
By studying psychology I have become someone who analyses everything around him. I had too many questions about the business. When you study psychology you become someone who analyses everything and all the time. Everything had to be understandable to me.
He then realized that if he wanted to succeed in this field, he had to stop wanting to control and understand everything.
I learned a lot more in this company in 6 months than I did during my studies in 2 years. I noticed this when I was working part-time, so I thought to myself, what will it be like when I’m full-time?
Recognizing this, Pjotr decided to end his studies once again to work hard for a year and a half as an independent salesman with the ambition of acquiring new skills and taking on responsibilities.
During his first months as a brand ambassador, Pjotr represents brands in the energy sector, and shows very good results. A few months later, he was offered the opportunity to be in charge of a campaign in the food sector and to coach other independent sellers of this campaign.
I didn’t decide to work in this business for money but rather because I felt that it was a place where I could develop personally and learn a lot and I was not mistaken.
Helping others to develop emotionally
By becoming a coach, Pjotr encounters some difficulties. Indeed, he is unable to coach the independent salespeople in his office since he focuses above all on his own development and success rather than those of the people he is supposed to coach.
I was selfish as a coach, I put myself in first place.
I didn’t really think about the success of others before mine. Then I realized that if I wanted to succeed, I had to help others succeed as well.
When he realized that to succeed he had to help other independent salespeople succeed as well, he changed his way of seeing things and reviewed his entire organization and way of working. Since his change in the way of coaching, Pjotr has imposed new values that can be summarized in 5 letters:
G, R, E, A, T.
Pjotr starts again from scratch, now caring more about other independent sellers than himself. He no longer counts his hours or days. Two years later, at the age of 28, he became a franchisee.
I find it important to have a good connection with the people I work with. I don’t care how much money I make, what matters to me is how I make that money.
Pjotr’s goals for the future
Today the entrepreneur dreams and works to be able to create a wellness clinic with his partner to help people who want to overcome hardships such as burnouts, divorces, loss of loved ones and other difficult moments in life.
I love helping people develop emotionally, discovering the strength they have in them and listening to them. This is what I do on a daily basis as an independent salesman at geninc. I want people to develop emotionally through this business and the skills they will acquire. I want to help them become the best version of themselves.
Pjotr’s advices to a future franchisee
- Be brave and take responsibility.
- Do not hesitate to take risks and courageous decisions.
- Have fun, and tell yourself that it is not only the destination but also the difficulties you will encounter in your journey but also the good things.
