In May 2019, Pierre took the risk of leaving his job as a key account financial analyst to start his career in direct sales as a Brand Ambassador. Just two years later, at the age of 31, he is already at the head of his own franchise in Montrouge. Two years of learning, fun and above all personal development.

What was your background before becoming a brand ambassador?

I graduated from a business school and as I was passionate about finance, I did several internships in this field to end up working as a financial auditor, then as a financial analyst, I managed large client accounts of 50 million and more. I had assignments with a lot of responsibility. I was on all fronts and it is thanks to these experiences that I learned how a company works.

As time went by, I started to get bored of the routine and started thinking about becoming an entrepreneur. But I was afraid of the risks involved. That’s why I immediately got hooked on Geninc. It’s the possibility of being an entrepreneur but without the risks. And with my profile, I always had a way of returning to finance if I failed.

“I immediately fell in love with Geninc. It’s entrepreneurial but without the risks.”

Your experience as a brand ambassador?

I loved it! Even the difficult moments were useful. I understood the importance of stamina and having people around you in the field. I learned a lot from this team spirit and that is what allows me to coach people better today.

But above all I learned to love people, by meeting them every day, you really end up opening up and getting attached to the people you meet. I will always remember the couple who were my first sale, it came quite early.

And then, with Geninc, there’s an atmosphere in the coworking hubs that makes you want to go beyond yourself, to go as far as possible and have a blast!

“Above all, I’ve learnt to love people. By meeting them every day, you really end up opening up and getting attached to the people you meet.”

What will change now that you are a franchisee?

I realised I was a franchisee when I made my first sale as a franchisee: I felt renewed, I had a freshness and a new energy. I even had the feeling that my team entered this new adventure at the same time as me, which made me proud.

The objective now is to get more organised and take on more responsibility in order to increase the average sales figures.

I’m able to project myself over time, I see things differently compared to when I started. I realise that for the past year I have started to love working. On Sundays, I sometimes even tell myself “well, I’ve been resting for 18 hours, let’s work!”

When I work a lot there are rewards, and at some point I started to like it. Afterwards, I also plan to invest, to build a new project.

“I have started to love working. On Sundays, I sometimes even tell myself ‘well, I’ve been resting for 18 hours, let’s work!'”
